Do you feel like your wardrobe is making you feel anxious, stressed overwhelmed?

Hands up if your wardrobe is overflowing with clothes but you still feel like you have nothing to wear.

👉🏻 Or you open it and you feel bored?

👉🏻 Or you open it and can never find what you need?

👉🏻 Or you feel like you’ve got multiple personalities and can dress for any occasion but nothing feels exactly like you?

Most women I work with either have almost no clothing because they’re ruthless at culling and also don’t like shopping, so they wear the bare minimum over and over again. And instead of feeling excited by their options - they feel bored, apathetic, frustrated or annoyed. They want the simplicity of less but know they haven’t bought the right things yet.

OR

They are the other extreme and have a wardrobe bursting with choices and cannot for the life of you put together different unique outfits from the endless options. Which baffles them because in theory - they’ve got all the right pieces and all the clothing that they thought they would need (hint - they’re probably missing their unique basic foundational pieces that pull everything together).

So which one are you?

And do you want to know HOW to open your wardrobe and love what you see AND put together effortless outfits AND feel good.

Well, I’ve got a couple of suggestions.

  1. Firstly - write down all the activities you need your clothes for - work (from home), school drop offs, networking, exercise, hiking, dinners, travel, board meetings etc.

  2. Then work out how many outfits you have to fulfil those needs per activity.

  3. Write down what’s missing (ie blazer for meetings, jeans that fit, shoes for exercise)

  4. Buy those.

  5. Get rid of all the clothes that you keep flipping past for those same activities.

  6. Feel free and organised and stylish!

Sounds easy I know - but it is. You just need to set aside some time and then do it. If you need some support, help or guidance with this - reach out!
